Beginners and Pros alike will be able to take breathtaking pictures in the most biodiverse place on the planet, Corcovado National Park which hosts 2.5% of the world’s biodiversity has been called "the most biologically intense place on Earth in terms of biodiversity" by National Geographic. It hosts 500 species of tree, 104 species of mammal, 367 species of bird, 117 species of amphibians and reptiles, 40 species of freshwater fish, and even 4 species of sea turtle. This is a wildlife photographers dream destination. In addition, we will be visiting Manuel Antonio Park which also has incredible biodiversity and hosts 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds. We will also tour the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose on the last day. This jam-packed run-n-gun adventure is for those with an open mind and thirst for adventure. All land transportation is by private, air conditioned van with English speaking guides. All visits include a naturalist guide to provide information on animal and plants encountered daily. In addition, Michael Bargeron will provide photographic advice to help you get the best shots of your life!
Day 1: Visit Manuel Antonio National Park. Overnight in Sierpe.
Day 2: Breakfast, boat cruise spotting wildlife in Largest Mangrove Forest, Arrive at
Corcovado Park Sirena Ranger station, full day of wildlife hikes and photography.
Lunch, Dinner. Overnight.
Day 3: Predawn wildlife hike, breakfast, afternoon nature hike, lunch, evening nature hike
dinner. Overnight.
Day 4: Early wildlife hike, breakfast, board boat head back to Sierpe, visit giant crocs at
Famous Crocodile Bridge, head to capital San Jose, night tour. Overnight.

Michael Bargeron will serve as our photography guide and expedition organizer. Michael has traveled the world to photograph and learn about fascinating creatures and their natural habitat. He has worked on many conservation projects and has served as chair and organizer for several conferences on wildlife. Michael did his doctoral work at the University of Southern California.
Our naturalist guide for Manuel Antonio is Jason. He has worked with our group previously and has tremendous knowledge of the wildlife and plants in Costa Rica. His ability to spot rare wildlife, such as the Mot Mot bird, is unparalleled.
Our naturalist guide for Corcovado is Mikol. He is an expert at spotting wildlife and providing information on all plant and animal life found within the park. Mikol will provide us with excellent information and make the experience extra special.

Join our expedition to the Amazon River in Brazil co-led by world renowned naturalist Dr. Richard Vogt and by wildlife photographer Michael Bargeron. The Amazon River is home to an abundance of wildlife and flora. Traveling aboard a research vessel with 18 beds in air conditioned cabins provides comfort while providing close up encounters with the wonders of the Amazon.

Dr. Richard C. Vogt will serve as our expert guide on this expedition. Dr. Vogt is a world-renowned research professor at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazonia in Manaus, Brazil and has twice altered the course of study in the field of turtle biology with discovering temperature-dependent sex determination and communication between turtles. He holds a PhD in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has published more than 100 scientific papers and books.
